Attended by Indonesian Vice-President Mr. M. Jusuf Kalla (JK) and the Economic News Founder Mr. Fadel Muhammad, the Best CEO selection is based on four assessment criteria:
First, the CEO should have a personal image. Secondly, the CEO must has successfully brought his company to be the best in their field. Next, the CEO must be able to bring a leading company in a particular field. Last but not least, the CEO must have lead his company to be profitable.
According to Mr. Fadel Muhammad, this award was made to inspire and motivate other CEOs to continuously improve their synergy, innovation and quality of their leadership.
This award consists of 16 categories, ranging from Agribusiness, Banking, Information Technology, Transportation, Telecommunications, Retail, Mining, Oil and Gas, Real Estate, Construction, Consumer Goods, Financing, Securities, Insurance, Automotive and other categories.
After passsing a very strict selection, CEO of PT Resource alam Indonesia Tbk, Mr. Pintarso Adijanto is crowned as one of the winners based on the above criteria.
